How to Access Self-Paced Courses, Learning Paths, and Badges in Automox University

Overview

This guide shows you how to navigate the self-paced learning options in Automox University (AXU). It covers the Getting Started series for new users, the Automox Worklet™ Learning Path for deeper skill-building, and the Badges that let you demonstrate your Automox knowledge with a verified digital credential.

Prerequisites

  • An active Automox University account. If you haven't registered yet, see Creating an Account in Automox University (AXU).

Getting Started Series

The Getting Started series is built for users who are new to Automox. These short, self-paced courses cover the core platform concepts you need to get up and running, including groups, policies, and scheduling.

How to Access the Getting Started Series

1.Sign in to AXU:

Go to university.automox.com and log in with your credentials.

2.Navigate to Onboarding:

Select Getting Started from the main navigation menu, or go directly to university.automox.com/page/onboarding.

3.Begin a Course:

Select any course to begin. While you can complete courses in any order, the listed sequence is recommended for first-time users.

4.Track Progress:

Complete each lesson at your own pace. AXU automatically saves your progress so you can drop in and out as needed.

💡 Tip: The Getting Started series serves as the prerequisite courseware for the Automox Essentials badge exam. Completing these modules prepares you for the test.

 

Learning Paths

Learning Paths provide a structured track of bite-sized courses designed to take you from foundational concepts to practical, real-world engineering applications.

How to Access Learning Paths

1. Sign in to AXU:

Log in at university.automox.com.

2.Open Learning Paths:

Select Learning Paths from the main navigation, or navigate to university.automox.com/page/learning-paths.

3.Follow the Track:

Work through the courses in sequence, or jump directly to an individual course in the path. Your progress is tracked across the entire track.

Note: Learning Paths may include courses shared with other sections of the catalog. If you have already completed an individual course elsewhere, you do not need to re-enroll or retake it.

 

Badges

AXU offers three tier levels of technical certification. Each badge requires the completion of specific courseware followed by a 50-question exam. Passing scores grant a verified digital badge issued via Credly.

How to Register for a Badge Exam

1.Sign in to AXU:

Log in at university.automox.com.

2.Navigate to Badges:

Select Badges from the main navigation, or go directly to university.automox.com/page/certificates.

3.Select Your Tier:

Choose the badge level you want to pursue.

4.Complete Coursework:

Finish the required course modules for that specific badge. The badge page provides direct links to any missing materials.

5.Launch the Exam:

Once coursework is complete, follow the onscreen prompts to unlock and begin the 50-question exam. Results are calculated instantly upon submission.

 

What Happens After You Pass

Upon passing an exam, Automox University issues your digital credential via Credly. You will receive an email notification from Credly with activation instructions.

Sharing Your Success

Once claimed, you can showcase your achievements across your professional network:

  • Share to LinkedIn: Add your badge directly to your LinkedIn profile under the Licenses & Certifications section using the metadata provided by Credly.

  • Post to the Automox Community: Share your certificate milestone on the Automox Community YAY page to connect with other automated systems peers.
