Device is showing as "Not Compatible"
Pretty self-explanatory. You have a device that is showing as "Not Compatible". There is one easy method to check for why this is the case.
How to Check
- Find the Device that is showing as "Not Compatible". Open its Device Details page, and scroll down to the Troubleshooting section.
- Find the Review Checklist button and click it to open a list of what's wrong. It could be multiple issues, but generally the Checklist will try to provide you with as many details as possible:
This 3GB of disk space is a placeholder disk space-check which checks to see if there is enough space on the device to install an update. It will still attempt to install the update regardless, but it may mark it as incompatible.
Although the message states that it has connection issues with the Windows Update Server, it's technically true, but it's usually because of a Windows Update error code that's being encountered during Automox Agent scans. Open the Windows Update GUI and use the "Troubleshoot" button to see if you're able to find it quickly. If not, go ahead and reach out to Automox Support!
