Problem / Question
Do Linux endpoints receive installation or reboot notifications configured within Automox policies?
Answer
No. Linux devices do not support end-user Installation or Reboot notifications from Automox policies or patch runs.
While policy notification settings can be configured across policies, end-user display notifications are currently supported only on macOS and Windows devices. On Linux endpoints, scheduled patches and reboots will execute silently in the background according to policy rules without displaying pop-ups or deferral prompts to local users.
