How to Find Software Installed on Your Device
When you cannot find software that you know is installed on your devices through the Software page in the Automox console, follow these steps to locate it.
Issue Overview
You may notice that an application is visible on the Device Details page but not listed on the Software page. This discrepancy is due to the filtering settings on the Software page.
Solution: Display All Applications
- Navigate to the Software page in the Automox console.
- At the top of the filter panel, locate the checkbox labeled "Hide Unsupported Software" (enabled by default).
- Uncheck this box.
- This will reveal all applications and software packages installed on your devices, including those that Automox does not natively support for patching or updates.
Additional Considerations
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions to modify the Software page filters.
- If software still does not appear after clearing the checkbox:
- Verify that the software is installed on the device.
- Refresh the console or log out and log back in to ensure the view updates.
