Objective
To resolve login and page navigation errors within the Automox console caused by browser cache conflicts, extension interference, or temporary browser compatibility issues.
Problem / Symptoms
When attempting to log in or navigate between pages in the Automox console, the following error message appears:
"Something went wrong in navigating to a new page. Please reload the current page and try again. If the issue persists, reach out to support."
Root Cause
This issue is commonly caused by:
Stale or corrupted web application data stored in the browser's cache/cookies.
Local browser extension interference (such as aggressive ad blockers or privacy extensions).
Known temporary compatibility or session-handling glitches in specific chromium-based browsers (such as Google Chrome).
Resolution Steps
1. Try Incognito / Private Mode or an Alternative Browser
Open a Private or Incognito window in your current browser and attempt to log in.
If using Google Chrome, try logging in using an alternative supported web browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
2. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies
If switching browsers or using Incognito mode resolves the issue, clear your standard browser cache to eliminate the stale data:
In Google Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.
Set the Time range to All time.
Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Click Clear data, then restart your browser and log in again.
3. Generate a HAR File (If Issue Persists)
If the error continues after clearing your cache, record a network trace (HAR file) to help technical support pinpoint the exact network or console response failure:

Save the .har file to your local computer.
4. Contact Automox Support
Submit a ticket to Automox Support and attach the generated HAR file for immediate investigation.
