macOS Ventura Update

Automox can upgrade macOS devices to Ventura without a separate policy. This means you must exclude the update if you are not ready to update. Here are two ways to exclude this update.

Switch your policy to Patch All Except

1. To exclude the Ventura update from your policies, you can switch your existing policy to a Patch All Except policy.
2. On the policy details page, search for Ventura in the Package Targeting section.
3. Select Everything "Ventura." 
4. Save.

Ignore the software 

1. To ignore this update entirely until you are ready, go to the Device Details > Software section.
2. Search for Ventura and from the Bulk Actions select ignore.
   Note: If you go this route, you will need to repeat this step for every new macOS release.
