Can Automox Patch Driver or Firmware/Hardware Updates?
When it comes to Driver, BIOS, or Firmware/Hardware updates for devices, Automox generally cannot perform these automatically. The BIOS and Firmware of the device are independent of the Operating System (think Linux, Windows, macOS). Updates for the BIOS and Firmware are not offered through the Operating System's repository, and so they are not supported through Automox innately (OS upgrades, patches, etc.).
The verbiage in the Patch All policy pretty much explains it all:

Use this policy type to patch all supported software. This includes all operating system patches and supported third-party software.

However, there are ways to go around this. If you can obtain the software or update package into a file, or just have it downloaded as a file, then you can implement the update or installation via a Required Software Policy or a Worklet:
