The Automox-authored core PowerShell commands used in the agent will be signed so that you can have full confidence and trust in the commands Automox applies to your endpoints.
The release of Agent 40 provides this security feature. In a phased rollout of the agent, we will turn on PowerShell signing of Automox-authored commands. You will be able to change the Windows settings to require all PowerShell scripts to be signed. What this means for your Windows setup:
You can enforce signing for all Windows devices without breaking the agent. If you are only deploying Automox worklets, you can enable “Allow only signed Scripts” in your Windows settings.
If you are using custom worklets, you cannot use this setting. Automox does not have the ability to ingest certificates from custom worklets.
If you have any questions, you can contact Automox Support at support@automox.com.
