Devices in Automox with the same UUID
Sometimes you might see some of your devices are sharing the same UUID within Automox and are behaving unexpectedly as a result.
Steps to Resolution
This usually occurs when a device that is currently running the amagent service is used to clone a new image.
The recommended steps to resolve this are as follows:
- Shut down the amagent service on the devices sharing a UUID
- Deregister the agent on the devices
- Remove/Uninstall the agent on the devices
- Reinstall the agent

When the newly installed agent starts on these devices, they should now have unique Automox UUID's.
