Does Automox download patches and remove them after installation?

• All third-party patches that are downloaded are put into a temporary folder in the Automox Working directory and should be deleted after the job is executed. Things that are downloaded through the Windows Updater are also stored in a temporary folder.
  • Windows:
    • C:\Windows\Temp
  • Sometimes here:
    • C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
• We do try to delete as much as we can, but we don't always get everything:

• Some examples of things that get left behind are Slack and Adobe Flash.
• OS patches should be cleared by Windows Update (or other Software Update software in situations like Macs). As an added FYI, we do not host our own Patch repositories:
