Apple macOS Updates
Beginning with the Agent 33 release, Automox fully supports macOS updates on Apple Silicon devices.
Follow the configuration and installation instructions to ensure the Automox agent has the appropriate permissions on Apple Silicon devices.
Third-Party Software Updates
Native support for Mac M1 architecture is dependent on the software vendor. While many vendors are still working to make their product compatible with the M1 CPU, Apple has provided support for Intel-based apps on M1 devices using the Rosetta 2 Translation Environment.
