Automox will officially end support for the 1.x version of the Automox Agent on June 15, 2025. After this date, the 1.x Agent will no longer receive security updates, technical support, or software patches. To maintain optimal performance, reliability, and security, customers are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest 2.x version of the Automox Agent.

Will systems with the 1.x Agent continue to function after June 15, 2025?
Yes, devices with the 1.x Agent will continue to operate as they do today. However, they will no longer receive updates, technical assistance, or guarantees of functionality from Automox after the End of Support (EoS) date.
Can I test the 2.2.24 Agent before deploying widely?
Yes. You can:
- Deploy the 2.2.24 Agent to a specific Zone or Zones within your organization for testing.
- Manually install the agent on individual devices in a sandbox environment to validate compatibility.
What happens if an upgrade to Agent 2.2.24 fails?
Automox uses a “Recoverable by Default” update mechanism. If any anomaly is detected during an agent update, the system will automatically revert to its last known good state, minimizing disruption and allowing safe remediation.
