Ignoring software did not prevent from patching
On the Device Details page, you can configure a software package to be ignored. See Configuring Software on a Device. If the device is not scanned before the next policy is executed, it can happen that the policy still patches the software.
In order to prevent this, we recommend performing a scan after any "Ignore" actions have been recorded on the device. This will refresh the policy statuses for the device and prevent any ignored patches from being deployed.
